A night @ Pasar Malam, Bsb

Menu for tonight is Mulaut's Chicken and lamb. Famous for its food especially this year around in Brunei, its stall was packed with patrons. We managed to get a table for ourselves and savor on their signature dishes.
The lamb was good but the chicken was just ok. We took a walk around the stalls which were selling items ranging from hair ben, soft toys to roller skate board? Its a new thing in town. It looks like a skate board but its not. I came to know that it costs B$40 for one skate board. I was kinda eager to try it on but fear of embarrassing myself stopped me. LOL!

But I might just get it for my sis instead, since i still owe her a pair of roller shoes!

We also came across this special display lights that looks like an angel from distance but is actually a mosque! amazing! No matter what it represents, its still lovely.

This time around, Jalan Sultan is filled with lights that made me feel lost everytime I use that road. So used to the dark, it was just too bright for me! LOL!

Satisfied with the night, came back home and took a shower.. and now, I'm ready to tuck in. Good Night all~

Empire Carnival July 09

Empire is hosting a carnival this weekend where there will be 63 games around the hotel premises. Why 63? This carnival is held in conjunction with HM's Bday. =)

The games were plainly simple but some were rather hard to win. Games include treasure hunt, ring toss, guess the number of items in a pot, throw the ball, archery... and many more.

I had fun but i got myself sun-burned!! :(

Noi's Bday 09

We celebrated Noi's Bday at Jan's place last nite. She made us some food, followed by some games and we watched Michael Jackson's video clips! =D

The first games was to determine who know her the most! Tracy and Jan ting were the winners! I do think i was supposed to win tho. It was MALCOLM CHONG's fault for insisting on RX 380 being her dream car!! Yes, Mal, its ur fault!

Then we had the supposedly 'ping pong' game. But was substituted by a beer bottle cap! and the winner again was Jan Ting. SO Not fair! Hmpf!

*tsk tsk tsk.. copying from others*!! Still small meh, mal?*

Da Nite!

"Is that HM's voice?", I laughed.
"Think so, i havent heard his voice for quite some time!", She replied.

**************************************************************

All I know is that some one is talking about H1N1, robot officers, some percentage points.. It was all cleared when my VP asked me about HM's speech.

"OH! So it was HM on the radio just now!", I claimed.

My lovely HM made a speech today and it was broadcasted all over the media channels.

He wasnt happy about the routine donations this time of the year in my country.
He wasnt satisfied with self-sufficiency in terms of food for this nation.
He wasnt happy about govt officers being sent overseas ALONE to handle govt related issues especially when the world is facing this pandemic (H1N1).
He wasnt happyy about sending a MAN and a WOMAN together for duty.
He wasnt happy about the glamorous celebration every July.
He wasnt happy about the consequences of this huge celebration that will affect his citizens and create more burden for them.
He only cares about his people that he loves.
He wasnt happy about the way govt officers work, he referred them as robots.
He wasnt happy about how ugama is not taken seriously at school nowadays.

He wasnt happy....!

I only managed to capture all these after I listened to the news at 8. It was one good speech, I would say.

When I logged on to facebook, I can see that most of the nation are listening to his speech and it made us all smiling. All it takes is his wise words to keep the nation going.

I couldnt say more.. :)

One morning ..

Came across an old couple. The old man gave his wife $10. While doing so, he told her not to spend on unnecessary items. LOL! Something that keeps me thinking.

When i was young, tats what my parents would say. When i grow older, is that what my partner going to say?sighh..

Sorry for the lack of updates. Last week was a hectic one.

At work, we launched the RBA courtesy campaign. Over the weekend, Shushan got married to Jih Woei!

To all Jih Muis on that day, thanks for the 'hard work' which made all games successful. It was indeed great fun! To all the brothers on that day, Thanks for being sporting! :D

Enjoy the pics below. Sorry I left the other half of my pics back in KB. So, heres the reception's one!
