It wasn’t his choice.

One afternoon, he couldnt breathe. Ambulance came and tried saving him. On their way to the hospital, they ran out of oxygen and had to rush back to the clinic to refill or rather exchange the tanks. And again, on the way to the hospital, they ran out of oxygen again! Rushed back to the clinic to refill. By the time he reached the hospital, his face was pale and after doctor’s review, he was sent to ICU. He only managed to pull through 2 days. His funeral was at 1pm just now.

The world has lose a kind, down-to-earth, easy going and strong man. It wasnt his choice to go, it was not a choice he could make. Whose fault was it? You tell me. It was heart breaking to see his family in grief! Without realising it, I was crying inside..tears slowly roll down my cheeks.

I do hope the authorities will do something about it. However, we cant do anything about it.

Good bye, q-kung! You’re one man that I will never forget!

Mc Donalds

It was just one of those nights where I had a craving for McDonalds Burger!

Korea

Suddenly I feel like going to Korea! I found that the airfares are really cheap. But funny thing, if you were to fly from Jakarta to Incheon via Kuala lumpur, it is cheaper than flying from Kuala Lumpur to Incheon itself!? LIke what the…?? Im talking about Malaysia Airlines btw!

Whenever i think of Korea, in my mind, its just all Flowers at gardens, city packed with people and huge billboards, fantastic adverts and chinese looking people!

Definitely, it will be in my ‘To-do-list’ in the years to come! ;)

Killer Dress!~

Looking thru my closet, I realised Ive got quite a number of new dresses. BUT none of them is suitable for my cousin’s wedding next week!

I usually like to wear those dresses that give me the ‘Right’ feeling. Yes, Right feeling like Mr.Right.. The last time i had this feeling was when I bought a dress for JW and 43’s wedding last July. I had the.. “ ahhh… “ feeling.

Now thinking back, I actually got the perfect dress for this occasion, well at least i had that feeling before. Kiun, ceci, Inn and yan bought me the dress for my bday! maybe I should wear that instead??.. hmmm… *where did i put that dress?*

Should I get another dress?? ….

xoxo Dress Lover..

Girls talk @ Coco Bar

As its a long weekend for us Bruneians, Miri is packed with Bruneians especially at the new Parkson Mega Mall.

Woke up early for breakfast at Seria stall, and it was good despite the countless visit to the washroom after that. Noi called me and told me that I need to accompany her down to Miri today and we met up with Humphrey. Nice guy, we got along well. I met Inn, ceci, Che Che, Justin and i heard Yan and tong was there too!

I had my favourite QQ’s chicken and duck but it wasnt that good as we were served with the leftovers only. Almost all bones! sucks!

2nd week in a row, Me and noi headed to Coco Bar for some drinks again. Che che joined us after that and we had two games of pool. =) Noi and I talked about ‘stuffs’ and its just good to catch up after some time!

One of the topics we talked about is our KK trip on Valentine Day this year. It was such a great trip and I miss the good old days. We had so much fun then.. partying 2 nights, getting tipsy, acting stupid and talking nonsense! All good.. All good! It was also my first time meeting Sam, v’s gf. Shes such a nice lady and v is so lucky!

Anyways, im so tired now! In desperate need of some rest! After what happened two nights ago, i believed that rest is very important for my health! Good nite mate!

Congratulations to Royal Brunei Airlines!!

Champion!

Over the weekend, my company hosted the 21st Inter Airline Management Golf Tournament at Empire Hotel and Country Club. Singapore Airlines, Malaysia Airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Thai Airways started flying into the country for this tournament since Friday. Preparations started about a month before last weekend and it sure was hectic! Im glad that all went smooth and ran as planned. I hope all are satisfied with the arrangement made!

Although I had a really rough week with all last minute changes, I do enjoyed organising this event.

Congratulations once again BI! Second time in a row, and like what Captain Khalid  said, lets clone yourselves and make sure we win again next year! :)

Making a living out of people’s shit!

This is probably the most interesting topic I had tonite with both bobs. Tea sessions was fun and full of shit when it comes to these two bobs.

If only i realize when people eat, they will shit, I could earn big bucks by cleaning their shit.

If only I can see, feel and grab these opportunities, Ill be richer.

Reminiscing the uni days, had a great moment thinking about it. Although I might not be able to say it out, but when one mentioned about it, I can remember it clearly or perhaps vaguely.

All i remember about uni was card games, I told BobR. =) Especially when we were playing Big 2, and I was conquering the game with 4 2’s but eventually I lost! Until today, it still become a topic we never miss every time we met! hmpf!

I still remember the time when BobR tried to fool me with his so-called “Magic”. He was hiding behind the staircase when I found him looking through the cards to see which card I was holding. Didnt give up, he tried harder to prove his magic with Gmee being his ‘Jin’ (devil). Thats one scene I can never forget, dude!

And Yes, until today i still dont understand what is a policy problem! I just never get it! But its ok, i’ve graduated with a degree and I should never need to identify that policy problem again!

Diman was the cool guy who proposed that I should sleep at one of the girls’ place when i got locked out of hostel. All thanks to the guys for making me stay to play another game of Big 2.

Uncle Muz was the one who we respected most and was there to guide us thru.

Gmee was one great friend back then in Uni and im grateful for all those guidance and times spent together! You’re the man!

BobR, glad that we bonded during our final years in Uni and thanks for all the tutoring and help in my assignment!

BobbY, can you please stop teasing me? hmpf~ Even if i cut my hair short, im pretty sure i still look like a woman! Hehe.. i will never forget the first day in English class where we argued and was enemies since then Until third year. And ill promise I wont ‘ki-mak’ you that much next time! LOL!

Hajar was the happy go lucky girl who always greeted us with her smile and contagious laughter. =)

And not to forget Noi and Mikey, I dont think my uni life will be that happening without you guys! You guys rock! Yes, u do!

xoxo

Ladies + a Man's night out

The last time I went to Marina bay was for sight seeing purposes only. Today I got to try their dishes there and surprisingly, it was really good. Highly recommended! Most importantly, you have some alcoholic beverages to drink along while enjoying your food.

Too bad, didnt have my camera with me. Next time will definitely take some photos.

For a meal of 6 dishes and a bottle of white wine, it costs us below RM$350. Not too bad ei?

Pics I took the first time I was there.. ;

What a vacation!

Besides Nanshan, my parents and I also spent some time in Foshan, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.

In Foshan, we visited the Wong Fei Hung's Memorial hall and the really huge park! It took me bloody one hour to reach the end!

*wishing tree*
Pearl River was the main highlight in Guangzhou since we were there for 2 days only.

*Beijing Road*
Finally i got to see the dolphins at Ocean Park in Hong Kong, visited the Avenue of Stars, Stubbs ROad Lookout (Shang-Tin) and Jumbo Restaurant (floating) too!

A trip back to Lung Village, Nanshan (China)

Finally, I made a trip back to my grandpa's hometown last week. Located 5 hours from Foshan, a trip back to Lung Village, Nanshan, took forever! Without any expectation, everything I saw took me by surprise. Things you see on Tv shows about China and what you see there is exactly the same! Im talking about rural development and not the urban ones.
*my grand uncle's home**my grand uncle - pumping water from reservoir beneath**Uncle Zhong Da - at the roof of the house**Kitchen**Kung Fu Tea - You can hardly find a bottle of mineral water*
*one of the mode of transportation**some old pics of me and my family*

These houses are as old as it can get! Coming from a wealthy and much more developed country, I felt blessed with the amenities and lifestyle that Im having back here. Everything is just so different!
*it was mid-autumn Festival and we paid our respect to the full moon*

Air pollution is relatively low in the rural areas.. early in the morning, you can relax and take a walk around the village, with many surprises awaiting you. Everyone in the village are entitled to a piece of land located behind the village near the mountains. These lands are then used to cultivate maize, rice, green vegetables, potatoes, peanuts, longan, and so much more. Their harvest are enough for them to survive all year round. Life in Nanshan is simple. Wake up early in the morning, fertilize their crops, dinner, wash up and sleep.

As the village is welcoming winter, i woke up feeling so cold and decided to go for a walk. Little do i know that traditional sewage management still exists in this world!! So shocked to see villagers carrying their 'waste', walking on the pathway and giving me that look~ Priceless!! A little reminder, do not ever go to their farms early dawn as this is the time they add these 'natural fertilizers'.
*natural fertilisers*

I also got to see villagers leading their goats to the hills for feeding early in the morning!! WOW!! You can also get fresh goat milk from the lady who owns these goats at RMB $2, a bottle.

I came to know that in the Lung village in Nanshan, a small part of the village are all inhabitated by Ten's family. However, we are not related to each other. I also found out that there is a "chi-tong" in the local primary school that belongs to the Ten's family where we can find the ancestors of Ten's family.
*Ten's family Chi-tong*

Now rural areas have developed so much that they have electricity supply and also water. Some fortunate ones will have their gas supply too. Water supplied to this village comes from the mountains, where it is believed that it has supernatural powers in healing the body.

My uncles also brought me to meet my grand dad's parents. Their grave are located at one of the farms of the villagers. I paid my respect and felt glad to be there. I wanted to pay respect to my 'tai tai kung' but its grave were beyond our reach. The bushes were taller than me and it was near a pond. Not having any utensils to clear the way, we headed home instead.
